IVBC promotes the game of Volleyball in the DFW/HEB area. Through promoting the game of volleyball, our goal is to create a positive learning environment where players can improve their overall volleyball skills. Consistent improvement of fundamental skills enhances a player’s ability to reach a higher level of competition and their full potential. IVBC has a sound philosophy in teaching these fundamental volleyball skills starting within our Pre-Club Academy Program all the way up to our top Select Club teams.  We believe our Directors and Coaches lead and direct by example, teach on an experienced level and provide a personal family friendly atmosphere while working with a small player to coach ratio for a positive volleyball experience. 

We want to help players develop and improve individual skills, understand team strategy and tactics to compete at the highest level.  We also have a strong focus on Coaches development as we feel that this provides the foundation for Player development.

In these days of COVID, we have had to adjust the "normal" in order to maintain a safe environment for all. The procedures that we have set into place are created for only one purpose.... to keep everyone safe.  It is up to everyone to work together to keep our environment safe.  According the Texas protocol, it is not only up to the youth sports organizer, but the participants are also held responsible. Please do not come into our gym if you are sick, have been around someone with confirmed COVID, have traveled to a high risk area or are immune compromised. 

Reminders for ALL clinics/ camps/ league play..... 

• Please do not arrive more than 5 mins before your clinic, practice, private etc unless we have given you specific instructions.  Also please leave promptly once the clinic is finished.
• Anyone who comes into the gym will need to go through the COVID screening. EVERYONE is required to wear a face covering/mask in the gym. Athletes may remove their masks while working on the court with the coach.
• After screening, all MUST use hand sanitizer before going into the gym. 
• The State of Texas protocol states that "only 1 person (parent) per player may attend, IF NEEDED".  If you decide to stay, you will also need to sign avwaiver and go through the screening process. No siblings please!
• Be sure to bring water bottles as the water fountain is closed.
• Bring as little as possible into the gym and come dressed ready to play.
• Everyone should maintain Social Distancing- 6 feet apart. This includes waiting in line to enter the gym, as well as sitting or talking in the gym! Parents as well as players!  The requirement is relaxed while the girls are working on the court, but EVERYONE should maintain social distancing while off of the court... parents, player and coaches. 
• ALL WHO ENTER THE GYM MUST HAVE A WAIVER ON FILE.- If a player is registered, we will have the waiver on file since it is built into the registration. If a parent wants to enter to talk to the coach, give something to a player, etc.... they MUST sign a waiver.

Again... we are not putting these procedures into place to inconvenience you but to keep everyone safe. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. We can only do it if everyone works together! Thank you!!!
