Community Service

Integrity Serves

Integrity Volleyball Club encourages players and teams to get involved in community service projects. There are many reasons why this is important not just to those who receive help but also to those who extend help. Serving others increases overall life satisfaction and helps you feel good about yourself because you are helping others. It teaches people of all ages and backgrounds compassion and understanding. When teams serve together, they learn to work together to accomplish something bigger than they could do alone, just like a team works together on the court. This also includes areas of leadership, problem solving, collaborating with others, time management, and communication. Helping others can also help to decreases stress and ease depression. Studies show that students who give back to the community perform better in school, particularly in subjects such as math, reading, and history.
